Food has always been an intregral part of Jenni Timony’s career from her first part-time job in an ice-cream shop on Bondi Beach as a teenager.
Aged 19, Jenni opened her first business – a cafe on the outskirts of Donegal Town serving homemade lunch and snacks.
At 22 she was General Manager of an award winning seafood restaurant near Donegal Town.
Next Jenni founded Doolittles, which started life as a cafe and quickly became one of Irelands leading gourmet sandwich companies. Doolittles hand made and delivered fresh sandwich products to customers such as Aer Arran, Topaz Energy, Mc Donalds Ireland, UCD Students Unions to name but a few.
“ Food styling and photography is not only a passion of mine, but it feels instinctive. With nearly 20 years experience in the food industry in Ireland I understand how great presentation through the dish the customer receives or photographic imagery , means a higher conversion rate from passers by and a higher average spend. So many food businesses promote images of their dining room, the bar area, the shop front or their text based menu, when I believe they are hiding their best advantage – their food. “
